Melbourne Storm Song
The Warriors played their last game of the year 11 days ago, on the 4th of September, 2009. They suffered an embarrassing 30 – 0 loss to the mighty Melbourne Storm. I’ve had the flu so I’ve been unable to complete the Melbourne Storm song and video until today. It’s an entertaining little ditty, paying respect to the New Zealand Warriors as they bid farewell to the 2009 NRL season and look forward to better things next year! The video for the song is pretty weird. I filmed it in bed to draw attention to the fact that I’ve been sick. Why? I don’t know. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. Rugby league will be the winner at the end of the day!
Storm In A Tea Cup
The Warriors will bring them to their knees
That’s not a Storm, it’s a gentle breeze
The Warriors are back and they’re back in form
And they’re not afraid of a little Storm
The Warriors are coming and they’re after you
That’s not a Storm, it’s a shower or two
And they won’t hide where it’s safe and warm
The Warriors will rise through the eye of the Storm
The Warriors will prevail
The Warriors are rising up
The Warriors are ready for anything
You’re just a Storm in a tea cup
The Warriors are real, this is not pretend
That’s not a Storm, it’s the rainbow’s end
I’m just a messenger, here to inform
No thunder and lightning will come from this Storm
